Stationery & Beauty Haul

Hope my readers are doing okay with everything at the moment. For something light today I have a collective haul of the things I’ve picked up last month in February. I placed an online Superdrug order and bought two stationery items from B&M.

All the Superdrug items I purchased are from their own brand, and also therefore cruelty-free. I haven’t tried any of these items featured yet, but I have to say I’m quite excited to see how I go on with the body sprays, they sound and look so pretty.

I read recently in one of my books, that writing things free-hand can be really good for you. I have some interesting ideas for these notepads, and I’m hoping they will provide a little hobby for me.

Have you tried anything from the Superdrug own brand range?
Do you have a blog post you would like me to read? :-) Xx

Collective Winter Haul

Hope you are all doing well. Today’s post is quite exciting, as I have a collective haul of some cosy bits I’ve been accumulating over the autumn months ready for a cold winter.

I’ve already started wearing the cosy slippers, and I can say they are one of the most comfy pairs I’ve ever owned. It was a bit of a splurge because I don’t normally spend that much money of slippers, but I’m hoping they will last me a bit longer. I managed to pick up another pair of pyjama bottoms, I was so short of them earlier in the year, as all my current pairs were falling apart. These ones are quite festive!

I was delighted with these Poundland cosy socks, the quality is excellent, and adore the ombre and glitter designs. If you are looking for thermal socks, B&M have some beautiful pairs, and they are literally so so soft and warm. I got some new toiletries too, which I will be doing reviews of at some point.

What I Bought:

M&S
Super cosy slippers £17.50
Brushed cotton checked pyjama bottoms £15

B&M
Bright coloured thermal socks 3pk £4.00

Poundland
Ombre and glitter cosy socks 2pk £2.00

Co-op
Co-op cruelty-free shampoo £1.95
Co-op cruelty-free conditioner £1.95

Home Bargains
Imperial Leather cosmic unicorn bubble bath £0.89
Imperial Leather cosmic unicorn shower gel £0.85

Birthday Present Haul 2019

Hope my blog readers are doing well. Today I wanted to share what I received for my birthday this year. I sometimes try and fit to a theme, and last year it was mermaid/aqua colours. This year it’s more focused on prepping for autumn. I picked up a few related things in the summer sales to put away for my birthday, for example a winter coat and hat. The block calendar, fox book markers, body sprays and bedtime tea are giving me those A/W vibes too.

Books are one of my favourite things to receive, as I don’t normally buy new books throughout the year. I tend to mostly buy myself things on my birthday, as I’m rather fussy but my family picked out some lovely surprises such as DVDs, foodie items, shower gels etc. I go to a card making class, and the tutor was having a craft sale, so my Mum and I picked out some card toppers very inexpensively. I had quite a quiet birthday but it was nice to have a cake with close family, and receive some lovely things.

Have I given you any gift inspiration?
Do you like to ask for books on your birthday too? :-) Xx

Summer & Autumn Clothing Haul

This collective haul spans over quite a long period, I bought a couple of bits on holiday, and other places. Some things were for the summer months, while a few I have the intention of wearing in autumn.

The pyjama bottoms, dressing gown and baseball cap were mostly purchased for practical reasons. I’ve been needing a few extra pairs of pyjama bottoms, and I was getting a bit warm in my winter dressing gown over summer. My last baseball cap has seen better days, so I invested in a new one.

The military jacket, and bag were both treat purchases, bought on holiday in Helmsley with my family. I see these two pieces working quite well together in autumn.

Haul Details:

Age UK Charity Shop, Helmsley.
Military jacket, originally from Boohoo. £4.50

Helmsley Market
Pink and grey cross over bag. £14.99

Marks & Spencer
Elephant design cosy pyjama bottoms. £15.00

Denim summer baseball cap. £6.00 (+20% off offer)

TKMaxx Colourful Clothing Haul

Hope you’re all doing well. Today I have a clothing haul to share with you from TKMaxx. I don’t get to go to TKMaxx that often, but my friend introduced me to them a while back, and since then I’ve been a fan. When I last went in, I was hoping to grab a few statement pieces as I was in need of one or two items like that.

I’m very much drawn to colour in clothes, and these mustard linen blend trousers seemed perfect for summer time. I’ve worn them once so far this year; they are so comfortable, and I like the yellow. The pink floral dress I loved the minute I saw it; it kind of has an oriental theme to it, which is lovely. The till assistant mentioned how nice it was too! The green block swing dress is just my thing, and I can see it being an everyday staple. Lastly I purchased some joggers, they are so cosy and perfect for chill days.

What I bought in TKMaxx:

Mustard Linen Blend Trousers £12.99
Pink Floral Midi Dress £19.99
Green Block Swing Dress SALE £6.00
Red Panel Joggers SALE £5.00

Winter Clothing Haul

Hi – hope you are all well, today I’ve got a few clothing items I’ve been purchasing over the winter months to share. These days I don’t buy as many clothes, but winter is probably my favourite time to shop as I love cosy knits and things that keep you warm. I went shopping two times, the first time I popped into Peacocks just before Christmas, I had a voucher and managed to get some money off. Often they give you them at the till, and I recommend you look out for them.

On the day Peacocks seemed to be stocking some really lovely pieces, and I spent a while trying things on and I came out with some great, staple items. I picked up two jumpers, each with a different detail to make them special. I saw this pale blue slouchy jumper and loved the colour as well as the lattice detailing on the sleeve. The second jumper has a beautiful role neck with an intricate pattern and feather quality all through the fabric. I had a quick look at the sports wear, and this asymmetric striped top had the softest fabric and the style I felt would be very wearable.

On another day, I popped into Shoe Zone which I think is actually an underrated shop in my view. I loved the pastels colours of these cosy socks, and I needed to restock so I got those along with some super cosy gloves, lined with fleece. I was pleased with my purchases as I know they will get a lot of wear.

What I Purchased:

Peacocks
Blue slouchy lattice detail jumper £18.00
Navy feather detail roll neck jumper £20.00
Cosy asymmetric striped tee £15.00

(I used a £10 off voucher which can be
used if you spend over a certain amount)

Shoe Zone
Two pack of cosy socks £2.99
Ladies cosy lined lilac gloves £6.99

What’s your favourite season to shop for clothes?
Do you shop in Peacocks or Shoe Zone too? :-) Xx

New Year Misc. Haul

Welcome back and happy 2019! I took a little break and thought I would start off the year with a collective haul. Most of these items are very inexpensive, and I picked them up in the sales or otherwise over the winter months. As always I picked up a diary and calendar for the year, I’ve grown to love The Works selection, and was so pleased to snap up this funky flamingo calendar and a sophisticated navy diary. I really do recommend The Works, for their prices and quality.

I bought some cruelty-free make-up bits including a Gosh BB cream and a Barry M concealer. The Gosh item is a repurchase, but I still have a little review to write up about it. The concealer I’ve never tried before, but I’ve been getting into the Barry M brand lately. I’ve slowly made my way through the different scents of the Superdrug treat me shower gels, they’ve all been amazing, the honey and ginger was my last to try.

I needed to fill up my basket for free delivery, and this bath bomb crumble caught my eye, I haven’t got around to using it yet but I’m looking forward to it. Lastly I picked up this cute battery powered light up star, it sits very comfortably on a shelf in my room, and gives off a cosy light.

What I purchased:

The Works
Flamingo calendar £1.50
Hello 2019 navy diary £3.00

New Look
Mini light up star SALE £5.99 £2.99

Superdrug
Superdrug ginger & honey bath & shower soak 500ml OFFER £1.45
Superdrug Lab Prism bath bomb crumble OFFER £3.00
