The Body Shop Mango Body Butter 200ml (£13)
I love everything about this product! The packaging is contemporary and easy to use. The scent is divine and leaves a lasting impression on the skin. I find the formula to be rich and creamy. It easy to apply and sinks in well leaving skin soft and supple.
I’ve use the extracts mango body butter in the past and loved it. I must say that now I’ve tried this one, I love them both! Well ok there both similar products but I find different brands vary.
I found The Body Shop version to be creamier and applied easier with a sweeter scent. The extracts version was much thicker and had a more authentic scent.
I’ve used this body butter a couple of times now and believe it’s gonna be a top go to body product for a good while. I got given this item as a gift but you can pick it up for £13 with slightly new packaging. Click here to buy online.
Have you got a favourite body butter? Which ones have you tried from The Body Shop?
Accessorize Lipsticks in ‘Velvet Pink: Shade 7’ & ‘Vintage Rose: Shade 5’ (£2.50 each)
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these two lipsticks particularly considering I picked them up half price in the sale.
I liked both colours but on me definitely preferred velvet pink which was a slightly lighter colour. The purple had a touch of glitter in it making it great for evening time.
Both lipsticks are buildable, to create either a more natural finish or a slightly stronger look. The lighter pink was more matt and the purple more shimmery.
I packaging included a jewel at the end of each lipstick which I loved. The packaging in general seemed quite well made. I’ve already enjoyed wearing these lipsticks and have high praise for the makeup range at Accessorize.
What Accessorize makeup products have you tried? Will you be buying some of there lipsticks?
St Ives Normal & Combination Skin refreshing facial cleansing wipes (£1.49)
I find wipes great on those days where I’m too tied to take my makeup off properly on a night. They can also be a quick and practical way to cleanse your face.
I was drawn to this product because I have used other skin care items by St Ives...mainly there face and body scrubs which I adore.
I bought this item from Home Bargins and the pack contains 35 wipes. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with this item. They made me break out and the actual wipes were quite oily. Sadly I don’t think I would recommend the product to anyone and I won’t be repurchasing.
Do you have any facial wipe recommendations? Have you tried this or any other St Ives product?
