Superdrug Naturals Shampoo Cherry & Fig Fine Hair 300ml (£0.99)

I found this shampoo to be extremely good and excellent value for money considering the high level of quality received.

It did exactly what it said it would on the bottle ‘Helps nourish and boost volume ideal for fine hair’. I struggle to find other shampoos that do this well other than the John Frieda volume shampoo review here.

I adore the cherry & fig scent as I love anything fruity. The fig gives it that something extra. It’s quite a strong scent and lasts on the hair afterwards.

After use my hair felt strong, shiny and much more volumised. It gave that squeaky clean feeling straight after use which I always look for in a good shampoo.

I purchased the 300ml as it’s just the right amount to have a good trial and I think I will definitely repurchase. I recommend to anyone who has fine hair – top product! Click here to buy on Superdrug.co.uk

Lavera lipstick ‘Rosewood08’ £11.90

This is not the first Lavera lipstick I've bought. Last year I bought the same product in a different colour. Click here to view the review of ‘Amber02’.

After testing out Rosewood08 I found the colour to be complimentary of my skin tone and added a lovely tint to the lips. The colour is fairly close to my lip colour but with a touch of iridescent lilac in there.

It gives quite a natural finish and the formula is moisturising. I found this lipstick is great for everyday wear. The pigmentation is average but with a couple of coats the colour looks more prominent.

The packaging is well made but nothing overly stylish. I trust the brand as they cater for sensitive skin and I know if I buy anything from them the ingredients will be all natural.

Overall I’m really delighted with my purchase. I don’t often buy high-end or more expensive makeup products but I’m pleased with the results and hope to make the item a keen favourite in my makeup bag.

Do you favour all natural makeup products? Does this item look appealing to you? xx

Matrix Essentials ‘Amplify’ Volumizing Shampoo

Matrix hair products are available in many salons. I came across the brand a number of years ago at my local hairdressers. At the time I had coloured hair so used the coloured hair range.

I’ve always been impressed with the quality of the Matrix brand. There shampoos and other products work wonders on my hair. Another product to try is the nourishing shine cream as its one of the best products that I’ve ever used on my hair!

This summer I bought the amplify shampoo by Matrix. I found when using this only a small amount is needed and a lot goes a long way. The best way to use this product is every other wash to avoid residue build up. This can sometimes happen when always using the same shampoo.

I wanted fuller hair and a bit of lift at the roots. After using this product my hair was somewhat more volumized but the main thing I noticed was how shiny and in good condition it made my hair feel. I also found the fragrance very refreshing and lovely.

Overall the product was very high quality – plus the packaging is so sleek. I found it’s a great everyday shampoo and as mentioned I use it every other wash.

Go to: http://www.matrixhaircare.co.uk/ for more info on their product range. They also sell items in salons too so make sure to ask if they stock it at your local. I picked mine up for around £6.00 for 250ml.

I highly recommend there range. Have you tried salon brands before? Have you come across the Matrix Essentials brand?
