I bought this shampoo in hope it would be similar to the John Frieda thickening shampoo which I love and can be bought at a similar price (Click here for review).
I did find some similarities. Both the items I am comparing had modern and classy packaging, a luxurious smell and left my hair more thick and glossy.
The lee Stafford shampoo I felt had a milder formula and was kinder to damaged hair. The fragrance was quite oriental which I liked and I loved the bright pink modern packaging.
There were some downsides to this shampoo; unluckily the packaging wasn’t made as well. I found a hole in the top of the plastic and unfortunately meant some of the shampoo oozed out of it. I was disappointed with this and put me off buying the item again.
I would recommend this item only if you are looking for a more gentle shampoo to volumise hair. I think you can find the same quality in cheaper brands but I still have a big love for the John Frieda thickening shampoo and prefer it overall. Click here to buy Lee Stafford shampoo.
