The Body Shop Promotional Charity Pack £4.00
I went into The Body Shop to buy body butter and at the till I was persuaded into buying this gift pack. I parted for my money because some of the proceeds go straight to charity.
The sales assistant gave me a whiff of the lip balm and I really liked it. When I got home I wasn’t as keen because it reminded me slightly of hubba bubba bubblegum. This may be a plus if thats your thing but it was a bit OTT for me.
Despite this I had fun trying out the free samples and overall find using the lip butter pleasant to use.
Nivea Gift Set £5 (Superdrug, Boots)
Daily Essential Wipes
They are multipurpose because they cleanse tone and moisturize. The wipes worked well for removing stubborn makeup but I wasn’t blown away with this brand of face wipes, it doesn’t suit my skin so don’t think I’ll be repurchasing.
Shower Cream
I’ve used this shower cream previously and I dislike the soapy scent. The cream did leave my skin super soft but was put off by how it smelt. Also the bottle cap was badly made, which made the product hard to use easily in the shower.
Pearl & Beauty spray on deodorant
This product had a nice scent to it but I prefer roll on rather than spray on. It came in a handy travel size and I finished with the contents quite quickly.
Essential care lipbalm
Again, I’ve used this product so many times. I favour lip balms with a fruity or special scent to them. The scent of this lip balm is kind of fresh smelling but not at all overpowering.
The formula is similar to Vaseline and is not as an effective as blistex or burts bees etc. Great for general use but will probably not go out and repurchase.
Body Creme
Again I’ve used this product previously. The body lotion is extremely thick and nourishing. If you suffer with very dry skin this would probably be ideal.
I don’t find the formula to work for me though; it’s a bit too thick and takes too long to sink in. Again the scent is kind of soapy and not my favourite.

Royal Jelly Gift Set £5 (Boots stores)
I received this set as a gift and was really delighted as it came with some essential items I was in need of. After using the products I was quite pleased with the results. The set included 100ml bottles of body lotion, shower gel and bath foam.
All these items were pretty self explanatory and theres not a great deal more I can add other than they did what they said on the bottle.
The bottles are a perfect size to try out the Boots royal jelly brand. The honey fragrance was pleasant and not at all overpowering.
I found the shower gel to be lovely and the bath foam left me feeling relaxed and soothed after using the product. The body lotion was nice and light and left my skin feeling supple and hydrated.

Radox Shower Smoothie 200ml £2.95
I cannot say enough good things about this product. I always like to try new shower gels, but I think I’m pretty much hooked on this particularly one.
Shower smoothies are a thicker more luxurious formula compared to everyday shower gels. This is one of the first shower smoothies I’ve tried and was not disappointed.
Radox is an excellent brand for guaranteed quality at fairly reasonable prices. Despite this I never thought beforehand to experiment with the brands products before. But now I’m really keen to give Radox more of a chance.
The formula was beautifully rich and soft on the skin. I was completely in love with the fragrance a mixture of blackcurrants and cranberries. There were little grainy bits, mainly fruit seeds and after a shower I defiantly noticed a difference in my skin, it was much softer and smooth.
You can pick up a travel size which I've done in the past for weekends away etc. Superdrug and boots tend to stock these items. Ive noticed poundland stock a couple of radox products too, so will def have to have another look when im in town.

Tatty Teddy 80 handy wipes £1
I found these wipes super handy, hence the name! Surprisingly this product can be picked up in Poundland. The item is great value for money and the pack of 80 wipes lasted me a really long time.
I was first attracted to this product by its gorgeous packaging, I love anything Tatty Teddy. The actual wipes are peach scented, making them a pleasure to use.
As advertised the wipes are soothing aloe, perfect for hands and face. I found them soft and gentle on the skin and worked well to remove makeup from the face.
I was extremely pleased with the product, despite each wipe being a little on the small side everything else I love about this item. I will defiantly be repurchasing.
