This book is a perfect summer read. It’s a cross between a light autobiography and a coffee table book. I tended to read from one page to the next, it seems to flow like that rather than flicking to different pages.
Despite this there were hundreds of cool pictures. It’s showed off Whitney’s personality, I love how organised she is and it gives lot of helpful tips.
Some of the content is quite basic but this makes it a fun and light-hearted read. It’s perfect for The Hills/The City fans or anyone who likes Whitney and her fashion range.
The book is split up into chapters such as home sweet home, working girl, style, parties, dating etc. Some of the chapters such as dating and parties were a little young for me however I thoroughly enjoyed reading the homeware and the style sections.
Elements of the book were very similar to Lauren Conrads books ‘Style’ & ‘Beauty’ which isn’t a bad thing as they are great reads too. But Whitney did put her own stamp on the book and made it feel personal with photos she had taken.
Overall I would recommend the book to most girls and young women. It’s a nice book to have and I enjoyed learning about Whitneys take on the world. The hardcover book can be bought on Amazon.co.uk for under a £10 which I think is very reasonable. Click here to buy.
