Accessorize baked bronzer duo (pearl sands shade1) £6

I enjoy using this product, the palette is quite big so I can swish my powder brush and get an even coverage. The packaging is beautiful, I love the butterflies and the duo effect makes it a pretty item to put on a dressing table.

After purchasing a baked blusher from accessorize, I was chuffed with the result and it really made me want to try out other items too.

The lighter shade on the right is more of a highlighter, and can be applied to the cheek bones for a glowing effect. The left side is a lovely shade bronzer which I use on the contours of my cheek bones.

I have fairly fair skin therefore worry that bronzers make me look orange. With this product I was happy with the way it looked after application. To achieve a professional look I used a real techniques buffing brush.

Overall I am very impressed with this item. I think it will be a firm favourite for a while.

Real Techniques core collection make-up brushes by Samantha Chapman £21.99

I highly recommend this product; I was extremely impressed with the results. As I am slightly less experienced at applying makeup I found these brushes really good for precision and applying makeup more neatly and professionally.

I was particularly pleased with the stippling brush which I use regularly to apply bronzer and blusher. It achieves a lovely effect. The foundation brush I found a little small but found very useful for applying high coverage concealer.

The smallest brush is great for applying eye shadow and great for precision. The only brush I don’t really use is the contour brush, but would be great to blend and buff eye shadows.

The brushes are high quality and the brushes hairs are super soft on the skin. I urge you to go out and buy this set! Can be bought at Boots, click here!

Superdrug Mango and Papaya Shower Gel 200ml £1.99

I bought this shower gel in hope it would be a cheaper alternative to the mango Extracts brand shower gel which can be bought at Boots. My overall feeling on this product was that it wasn’t anywhere near as good at the Extracts.

Unfortunately the liquid was kind of thin and the aroma was fairly weak, not nearly as good quality as Boots Extracts mango shower gel. Although I liked the mango I was not keen on the hint of papaya.

I think for the money I could purchase a better brand, maybe from Superdrug or the supermarket. I did admire the modern packaging and sturdy bottle. It lasted me quite a while too.

I wasn’t amazed enough to repurchase but I’m not going to give up on the Superdrug brand just yet. I’ve tried their hand cream and thats beautiful so maybe try a couple of other products.

Superdrug Skin Essentials Fragrance Free Wipes £0.99

I bought these wipes in anticipation they would be quick to remove makeup before going to bed. They were really handy and I found just one wipe was enough per use.

As noted on the packaging, this product is fragrance free. I couldn’t get my head round it really as I’m so use to using wipes with some sort of fragrance. This might appeal to sensitive skin though.

I found the wipes to be super soft on the skin and not too oily. The only negative I would say would be that they left my skin slightly dry.

I think the product is great value though and has lovely simple packaging. I trust the Superdrug brand as I buy other products from there range. Despite this I don’t think I will be repurchasing this particular item as I would prefer something a little more moisturising.

Vera Wang Princess 30ml £33.50

This is my first repurchase of this item. I was disappointed when my first bottle of this ran out. Id contemplated buying this for ages and just recently I bought the 30ml bottle from Superdrug online and I was so glad I did.

The perfume smells drop dead gorgeous. The scent is extremely sweet and romantic. This is the scent description on the Superdrug Website:

“The top notes sparkle with the captivating, aroma of delicate apples and dreamy water lily kissed lightly by mandarin meringue.

Sweeping into a heart of pink guava and the rare, tahitian tiare flower, and dark chocolate.

The base is wrapped in a mysterious air of amber and forbidden woods.”

I don’t buy designer perfumes normally; in fact Vera Wang Princess was my first proper designer perfume. In my opinion, often more expensive perfumes have nicer ingredients and it’s nice to splash out if you wear the perfume all the time.

I really like the packaging and bottle, it’s so pretty. The top is made to look like a crown and the base is in the shape of a heart – lush!

Additionally, they sent me a free promotional Vera Wang bag. It’s lovely, silver with pink stitching. It’s nice to big to it all your belongings in.

Miss Sporty Eye Liner (In 070 Neon Blue) £2.59

I’ve worn this blue eyeliner many times now and had a few compliments from people about it. It can be worn either under the lower lash line or as I’ve been doing over the top lash line and winged at the ends.

The product is lovely and creamy, blends extremely well. If you twist the applicator more comes out. I like this because it means you don’t have to worry about sharpening, like ordinary eye pencils.

There are other colours in the range; I might get a couple of others when I next pop into Superdrug. The Miss Sporty range is very affordable and some of the products are extremely good. I highly recommend this product because it’s great quality for the price.

Accessorize Autumn/Winter Khaki bag £35

I purchased this bag in Accessorize last weekend. They had just launched their Autumn/winter collection and there were lots of lovely goodies in the shop.

I was drawn to the ‘designer’ look and the bag looked much more expensive than it was. I loved the detailing on the straps and the neutral colours will go with lots of things.

I can’t wait to wear it, have you been in Accessorize lately? What did you think?!
